Naugatuck Public School

ChimeNet was awarded the contract to perform a detailed Wireless Survey for all Educational sites within the Borough of Naugatuck’s Public School District. The survey entails detailed dbm readings for each room from 2 different Wireless Clients. This details the exact distance and bandwidth that will be received from the Access Point in each room. ChimeNet will utilize actual wireless clients currently deployed on the Naugatuck Public Schools network to understand the specific wireless needs and how each will react in their wireless environment. Each Access Point is tested in the theoretical area to determine how the building responds to the RF signals to establish areas of coverage. ChimeNet will propose the exact placement of access points in conjunction with coverage and bandwidth for each of the twelve (12) educational sites within the District. Deliverables will include detailed Visio diagrams of each school and the Wireless specifications for each site. ChimeNet recommendations will serve as blueprint for Naugatuck future Cisco Wireless Deployment.
